Coney Reyes on receiving her first shot of COVID-19 vaccine: "Senior citizen po!"
Coney Reyes finally received her first vaccine shot against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as part of the priority group A3 in Pasig City on Saturday, April 17.
According to her son, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, the former Love Of My Life actress is the "6,318th Pasigueño senior to get vaccinated!"
The 66-year-old actress went through the proper process to get inoculated.
Mayor Vico mentioned on his earlier tweet that the local government strictly follows "first-to-update-first-served" on its vaccination program.

Meanwhile, Coney shared to her followers a photo of her happily holding the sign "I got vaccinated" on Instagram yesterday.
On its caption, she offered a prayer for the healthcare workers involved in vaccination process.
She said, "Thank You, Lord! I ask You to Please Bless all the medical frontliners, healthcare workers, security personnel, and everyone else involved in facilitating the vaccination process.
"Guide them, dear God, strengthen them, encourage them, keep them and their loved ones always safe. Provide for their every need.
"Let your hedge of protection be upon them at all times. Let the joy of the Lord be their strength! Thank you, Jesus! 🙏🙏🙏."
Earlier, Coney's son, L.A. Mumar spoke about going through the right process to get his vaccination jab.
The Ateneo women's basketball coach emphasized the importance of values, ""My mom didn't skip the line, Vico didn't skip the line. Why would I?"
"Shouldn't we hold on to our values more when things are difficult? What will I tell my children? It's ok to do something illegal because it's convenient?"
"My three boys are watching me, people around are watching and most importantly, God is too."
