Internet's Pinay mom Mama Lulu feels grateful as she celebrates her birthday!
U.S.-based Filipina content creator Lulu Balgos, better known as Mama Lulu, celebrates her 69th birthday with humor and gratitude.
On her family's social media pages, the beloved Pinay personality marked the occasion with a playful reel featuring her birthday cake.
Staying true to her signature humor, Mama Lulu reflected on the blessings in her life as she celebrated another milestone.
"I am very thankful that I live a very wonderful life with my husband, with my five children, and with my two grandchildren," she said. "Living my life now is a bonus, a blessing."
When asked about her greatest achievement upon turning 69, Mama Lulu jokingly recalled her late husband.
"I outlived my husband. He is skinnier (laughs). But he would laugh at that joke because he loves laughing," she quipped.
She also spoke fondly of her husband, saying her loyalty, as one of the traits she associates with being a Leo, is reflected in her life ever since.
"We are very loyal... I never remarried after your father," she said.
In another post, her child, Oliver, penned a heartfelt birthday message for their beloved mother.
"On August 3, 1957, a diva was born in Makati Rizal, Philippines. Happy Birthday to our superstar Mama LuLu. A true sassy, loyal, and lovable Leo who never fails to make us laugh. We can't wait for all the '69' jokes you're about to do this year. We love you, Queen Mother…," Oliver wrote.
Meanwhile, the family also shared Mama Lulu's birthday wish for this year.
"Mama's biggest wish is to reach 1 million followers on our YouTube by end of the year. Please subscribe to our otakoyakisoba YouTube account if you haven't. We're about 30,000 followers away! So close…"
Mama Lulu is widely known for her humorous videos featuring her playful banter with her children, earning her a loyal following on social media.
In October 2025, Mama Lulu returned to the Philippines for the first time in 18 years, documenting her family's adventures as they explored different destinations across the country.
