For the first time in their 50 years of performing, Apo Hiking Society's Boboy Garrovillo and Jim Paredes witnessed a marriage proposal during their show.
This happened during their sold-out concert last night, February 9, at the Diamond Showroom of Blacktown Workers Club in Sydney, Australia.
Boboy and Jim were singing their classic "Panalangin" when a guy named Mickey went up on stage together with his girlfriend named Tisha.
Mickey knelt on his one knee and brought out a ring. Tisha went emotional and accepted the proposal with Mickey putting the ring on her finger. The newly-engaged couple then hugged in front of the audience.
Shortly, the couple held hands and started swinging as the OPM duo continuously sang their hit song.
This heartwarming moment was captured by another concertgoer who goes by the name Violi Calvert and posted the surprise proposal on her Facebook account.
Apo Hiking Society's Sydney show is part of their successful Australia tour for their 50th anniversary in the music industry.
The band has one remaining show for the tour, happening in Darwin Entertainment Center in Darwin City, Australia on Sunday, February 11.
