The family of Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco had a double celebration as his two siblings finally graduated from college.
David shared a carousel of snaps on his Instagram page last June 23, wherein one could see James and Jean's graduation photos. Both younger Licaucos played for the Ateneo de Manila University volleyball squad in the UAAP.
Meanwhile, their mother Eden Licauco wrote a special congratulatory message on Instagram as they wrapped up their collegiate life.
Mrs. Licauco wrote, “It's been a privilege to watch you both strike out on your semi own, live and thrive, and manage your time as student-athletes.
“The road taken was not easy but you both took chances on yourselves and believed in yourselves. That's a feat. I am proud of you, Jean and Jed!”
For his part, James, who was a setter in the men's volleyball squad of Ateneo looked back to his journey with his alma mater.
He stated that it was a huge honor for him to represent the school and the community.
James said, “Ateneo, I will always be indebted to you. A dream turned [into] reality. Thank you.”
He added, “I have found a home inside four-walled classrooms, smell that sticks cafeterias, rollercoaster parking lots, but most importantly, the people.
“I am and will always be proud to be an Atenean. Thank you for granting me the privilege to represent you.”
