David Licauco earned the moniker Pambansaang Ginoo thanks to his stint on the Kapuso drama series Maria Clara at Ibarra and now the star is living up to that flattering nickname.

In some of the most recent posts on his different social media accounts, David has been fully leaning into his boyfriend persona, uploading photos and video with captions that make it sound like he's someone's boyfriend.

In one Facebook post, David uploaded a photo of him pouting along with the caption “Tagal mo reply” and a teary-eyed emoji. As of this writing, the post has garnered 168,000 reactions, more than 13,000 comments, and has been shared more than 16,000 times.

Comments on the post include netizens playfully teasing David with equally flirtatious lines. Some of the netizens even joked that David hasn't been messaging them so why should they reply back. Others joked that David should send them load first before they reply.

David also posted a TikTok a couple of days ago greeting someone a good morning and telling them to take care of themselves while in his car.

In the comments to the TikTok, netizens made very straightforward comments about David “practicing” to greet someone good morning.

David's relationship status has definitely the focus of a lot of netizens and even fellow celebrities over the past few days. During a guesting on It's Showtime, host Vice Ganda teased him about currently being single. Viewers were even more thrilled when Vice joked about David possibly courting a leading lady that is also recently single.
