Dayanara Torres lauds Miss Universe 2025 third runner-up Ahtisa Manalo during the pageant.
Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres described the Philippines' Ahtisa Manalo as “a dream” after the Filipina contender graced the long gown competition in a striking Val Taguba creation.
Offering live commentary alongside Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, Dayanara couldn't help but shower Ahtisa with praise.
“The Philippines, I needed to say that. Did you see that eye contact? That was impressive,” Dayanara said, in praise of Ahtisa.
She added, “She just knows the camera, she knows the angle, she knows where exactly where to look.” added.
When Ahtisa stepped out in her evening gown, Dayanara couldn't help but describe her as “a dream.”
"That was a dream, a dream come true," she added during the broadcast.
Dayanara previously spent five years in the Philippines, where she built a local career as a host and actress.
