Derek Ramsay's mother, Remedios “Medy” Paggao is recovering from an operation to fix her broken arm.

Versatile TV-movie actor Derek Ramsay is breathing a sigh of relief after sharing on Instagram that his mother Remedios “Medy” Paggao was hospitalized due to a bad fall.

The Better Woman star posted a photo of Mommy Medy and his dad, Derek Ramsay Sr., on Instagram. He then stated that his mom needed a surgery, because of her broken forearm.

Derek posted, “The other day, my mom took a bad fall and broke her forearm. Seeing her fall and seeing her in so much pain was the scariest moment of my life. My mom is a strong woman, so it was difficult to see her screaming and crying due to the pain.”

The husband of Ellen Adarna also expressed his appreciation to everyone for their kind messages for his mom as she recovers from her arm injury.

“The day after, my mom had her surgery, and it was a successful one. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who took care of her. Thank you, guys, for all your prayers and well wishes. Thank you, Lord, for answering all our prayers!Mom is back to putting on her own makeup, which is definitely a good sign!!”
