'Rewind' is continuously adding to its list of recognitions.

The “Rewind Effect” is not over as Quezon City recognized the success of the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival entry Rewind starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

Last February 12, the local government of Quezon City granted the Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Primetime Queen Marian Rivera a certification for Rewind held at the Quezon City Hall.

It was made possible through a resolution by Councilor Aiko Melendez and Councilor Alfred Vargas, spearheaded by Vice Mayor Gian Sotto and Majority Leader Doray Delarmente written to recognize the success of Rewind which was shot in Quezon City.

Netizens commended the city, especially QC Mayor Joy Belmonte, for being supportive of Dingdong and Marian, and the arts in itself.

They wrote, “Ang galing! Always supportive talaga ang ating Mayor Joy Belmonte. Congrats, DongYan!”

There was also overflowing support for DongYan for bagging such huge success for their entry into the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival.

As of January 30, Rewind has officially become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time after earning more than PhP900 million, surpassing Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richard's Hello, Love, Goodbye.

Rewind's success has extended the Philippines, reaching the 2024 Manila International Film Festival in Hollywood where Dingdong Dantes was honored as Best Actor for his role of John Nuñez in the movie.

Pepe Herrera, the actor who played the character of Lods, was recognized as Best Supporting Actor.

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are real-life Filipino actors/couple known for their timeless primetime hits such as Marimar and Dyesebel, as well as their big screen projects like One True Love, You To Me Are Everything, and Rewind.

They also star in GMA Network's sitcom Jose & Maria's Bonggang Villa.

Meanwhile, Marian Rivera is set to star in the newest fantasy series My Guardian Alien directed by Zig Dulay showing 2024.
