Multi-awarded actor-host Dingdong Dantes has once again earned international recognition after being named among the Filipino nominees for the 21st Seoul International Drama Awards.
According to the Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee, Dingdong is nominated for the Outstanding Asian Star category, where he will compete against fellow Filipino stars Anne Curtis and Joshua Garcia.
This is not Dingdong's first time to be recognized by the prestigious award-giving body. In 2020, he took home the Asian Star Prize at the 15th Seoul International Drama Awards.
Adding to his list of achievements, the Philippine adaptation of Descendants of the Sun, which he headlined alongside Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado, was previously awarded Most Popular Foreign Drama of the Year.
At present, Dingdong is busy filming the upcoming movie “Remember,” where he stars alongside his wife, Marian Rivera.
Meanwhile, he continues to lead the high-rating GMA Prime series The Master Cutter, where he plays Atoy—a former scout ranger who now lives a quiet life as a tailor, while secretly working as a tracker-for-hire.
