Like everyone, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes found himself contemplating deeper about so many things because of the pandemic that's been gripping every nation.
“The pandemic has been testing my faith and patience. It is challenging me to find ways to better ensure the safety and health of my children, my wife, myself, and the people that surround me,” admits the male lead star of 'Descendants of the Sun' The Philippine Adaptation (DOTS PH)
Despite his worries, the actor remains optimistic. “I was raised by my parents to always look on the bright side…I know that in His perfect time, this too, shall pass.”
Dingdong stays grateful as well, for everything that is coming his way. Apart from his show's return to TV, he was recently handpicked by Medicol to be its brand ambassador. He is also busy as founding chairman of YESPinoy and as an entrepreneur for his DingDong PH, an online marketplace and delivery app.
“I am immensely blessed and humbled by all the opportunities that He is throwing my way. I am also grateful for the recognition as they are reminders that I am on the right track,” says Dingdong referring to his Asian Star Prize at the 15th Seoul International Drama Awards for DOTS PH.
At this point in his life, is there anything else that Dingdong wishes to achieve?
“There is truth to the adage that life begins at 40. I would like to think that I am still a work in progress and the best is yet to come.
“I have so many dreams for my family, for the entertainment industry that has nurtured me to become the best version of myself, and for the communities and sectors where I can extend inspiration and help,” he ends.
