Aside from showing his support for the movie, Dingdong is also busy preparing for his upcoming series, The Master Cutter, arriving this May, where he stars alongside Max Collins and Shuvee Etrata.

Meanwhile, Sanya is currently focused on promoting her upcoming movie, Midnight Girls, in which she stars alongside Kapamilya actresses Jodi Sta. Maria, Loisa Andalio, and Jane Oineza.

The film follows the lives of Filipino performers working in Japan. To ensure an authentic portrayal, she shared that the cast engaged in an immersion program, speaking directly with actual entertainers to gain insight into their lived experiences.

Highlighting the harsh realities these workers face, the Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre star remarked during an interview with 24 Oras, “They work during the day and continue working at night, taking on side jobs because, given the hardships of life, relying on a single source of income just isn't enough to survive.”

Midnight Girls is scheduled to be featured at the Far East Film Festival in Italy this month.

On the other hand, in an interview on the program Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Jodi shared that she and her co-stars underwent an immersion at a night club in Japan.

She shared that it was important for them to undergo immersion and experience the reality of these performers' lives so they could better understand the stories behind them.

“It is important for us, doon sa character namin na truly maintindihan 'yung lalim ng pinanghuhugutan, 'yung pinanggagalingan ng mga babae; ng mga istorya na ilalahad namin,” said Jodi.
