Direk Jerry Lopez Sineneng to the late Phillip Lazaro: “Thank you for your funny kuwentos na nakakagaan sa hirap ng trabaho natin.”
Director Jerry Lopez Sineneng recently paid tribute to the late actor and director Phillip Lazaro.
In an Instagram post, the esteemed director shared a photo with Phillip and wrote a message of gratitude for him, saying, “'Yong lagi kitang tinatanong kung ano ang secret mo dahil lagi kang fresh sa taping samantalang ako umaga pa lang dugyot na.
“Thank you for all the wonderful memories we shared during the taping of Widows' Web. Thank you for your funny kuwentos na nakakagaan sa hirap ng trabaho natin. Rest in peace, kapatid direk Phillip Lazaro.”
Phillip Lazaro was the second unit director of some of GMA's well-loved series such as Widows' Web, Prima Donnas Season 2, and Nagbabagang Luha.
Apart from Jerry, former Widows' Web actresses Ashley Ortega and Pauline Mendoza also honored the late veteran comedian on social media.

On July 11, Phillip Lazaro passed away due to multiple organ failures. He was 52 years old.
Rest in peace, Direk Phillip.
