Jennylyn Mercado was put to the challenge after she was asked to complete the missing words in the iconic chant in Super Twins, the 2007 GMA fantasy series she headlined with her StarStruck batchmate Nadine Samonte.
In an Instagram reel posted by GMA Public Affairs on Wednesday, March 19, the Ultimate Star got one correct answer out of two in the fill-in-the-blank game, mistakenly substituting "tadhana" for "lakas." The short but sweet video was taken during the GMA Thanksgiving Party for its advertisers as it celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.
"Hala, hindi ko na maalala," Jen quipped.
Nevertheless, it seemed the netizens didn't mind the error and instead focused on the 37-year-old actress' ageless beauty.
The caption read, "Love na love ka pa rin namin, Super S! #GMADenimAndDiamonds".
Furthermore, one netizen expressed desire to see Jennylyn as Super S again, "Beautiful JEN! Reprise naman ng Super Twins".
In Super Twins, Jennylyn and Nadine portrayed twins Sha-Sha and Tin-Tin, respectively.
Their father gave them rings on their seventh birthday. The twins discover that they transform into teen superheroes when they sing a chant and kiss their rings. Sha-Sha becomes Super S and Tin-Tin becomes Super T.
Currently, Jennylyn is working on her new series with GMA which she is paired with her husband Dennis Trillo. Dennis also starred in Super Twins where he played the villain.
Nadine, on the other hand, starred in the recently concluded GMA Afternoon Prime series Forever Young. Last January, she recreated her Super Twins character in a makeup transformation video.
Besides Super Twins, Jennylyn has had a diverse career in GMA, including My Love From the Star, and Descendants of the Sun, among others.
