Actress and TV host turned chef Donita Rose just got engaged to her partner singer Felson Palad and celebrities can't help but shower the single mom with support.

In an Instagram post today, May 30, Donita shared a selfie showing off her engagement ring with her husband-to-be by her side.

"Am now officially engaged! " she briefly captioned the post taken in Franklin, Tennessee.

Although Donita has been out of the entertainment limelight since she migrated to the U.S. in 2021, the former MTV VJ is still in touch with her showbiz friends who were first to know about the proposal before Donita and Felson revealed it to the public.

Former Eat Bulaga host Ruby Rodriguez wrote, "Oh, wow! Congratulations. Happy for both of you as I'm a witness [to] how it all started."

Kapuso host Kim Atienza wrote a commet on a clip Donita posted showing Felson, "I love it that he makes you laugh!"

Ruffa Gutierrez wrote a comment on her photo, "You finally told the world! Congratulations, girl! You beat us all to it!"

Vina Morales said, "'Yun oh, we kept our mouth shut hahaha congratulations again. We are happy for the both of you."

Jaya mentioned, "Yes! So happy for you guys and thank you for letting us know agad agad haha that was such an honor for Gary [and] I. God bless your new journey."

Donita and Felson confirmed their relationship publicly in March 2022 during the LA Fashion Week 2022.

She migrated to the U.S. back in 2021 with her son JP. Donita was married to Eric Villarama for over a decade before they filed for divorce in 2016.
