Matapos ulanin ng batikos online, humingi ng tawad ang celebrity vlogger na si Donnalyn Bartolome dahil sa kaniyang sexy baby-themed photoshoot para sa kaniyang 28th birthday.

Ipinost ni Donnalyn ang mga larawan mula sa kaniyang controversial photoshoot sa kaniyang social media accounts at may YouTube vlog din tungkol dito noong weekend.

Sa inilabas na apology ni Donnalyn noong Linggo, July 10, sa Facebook, sinabi niyang "honest mistake" ang temang pinili niya para sa kaniyang latest photoshoot na hindi nagustuhan ng marami dahil umano sa panghihikayat nito ng sexual fantasy sa mga menor de edad at pedophilia.

Saad niya, "It was never my intention to enable one of the most horrifying acts here on Earth."

Sa loob ng mahigit kumulang 20 oras, binura ni Donnalyn ang mga nasabing content matapos maraming umalma sa kaniyang sexy outfits bilang infant.

Paliwanag niya, "I couldn't remove my post right away because I needed it to copyright the photos to prevent the spread of it furthermore until I got a go signal from Facebook and other socmed managers, an assurance that they know I am the owner of the photo and they'll help me correct this by taking down all of the posts involving this photoshoot."

Kaya dulog niya sa kaniyang followers, "You may help us by sending the links of the post of anyone who reposted this for any reason at all. (via message)."

Hindi inasahan ng Internet personality na pupunahin ang kaniyang photoshoot. Gayunpaman, kinikilala naman daw niya ang kaniyang pagkakamali kaya lubos siyang nagsisisi lalo pa at marami ang naapektuhan ng kaniyang posts online.

"Almost a million people across socmed platforms thought of it light and funny because they know my personality and didn't look at it that way hence our initial reaction to the idea was the same.. but upon reading other people's perspective, I completely agree. I feel terrible, sick to my stomach and had disturbing flashbacks I'd rather not say."

Paglilinaw pa ni Donnalyn, hindi niya intensyon na makapinsala dahil siya mismo ay overprotective sa kaniyang mga nakababatang kapatid.

"I was called crazy for being overprotective to all of my siblings, ones I took care of since they were babies. It has come to the point where I had to go to a [psychologist] to understand my actions because the level of protectiveness was quite extreme, all I'm saying is I've taken care of children since I was 11 years old, this was the last thing I would ever intend to do."

Nagpasalamat naman si Donnalyn sa mga nagpaalam agad sa kaniya tungkol sa negatibong epekto ng kanyang posts.

"Thank you to everyone who let me know, especially those who did it so kindly, you're the type of people who help me become a better person every day as I hold the responsibility of influencing millions. It's not easy but I'll do my best."

Sa puntong ito, kinuha na rin ni Donnalyn ang pagkakataong hikayatin ang kaniyang followers na tumulong sa isang care facility kung saan siya dati in-admit.

"While you're here. I'd like to use this attention for those who want to help abused children.. There is a care-facility I was admitted in when I was a minor: Nayon ng Kabataan, the children admitted there carry so much pain, you can donate or send them little gifts to make them feel better.

"Thanks everyone and I'm sorry."

Nakakuha naman ang simpatiya si Donnalyn mula sa netizens sa kabila ng kritisismong natatanggap.

Kaugnay nito, isang aral para sa influencer na maging responsable sa paggamit ng social media.

Ayon sa kaniyang sumunod na Facebook post, hindi nga raw niya mapatawad ang kaniyang sarili dahil sa kinahinatnan ng inakala niya'y isang harmless na birthday photoshoot.
