Self-producing K-pop idols SEVENTEEN yet again offers their Carats a special treat by releasing a trailer for their upcoming studio album, Face The Sun, which will be released on the 27th of May.

The trailer, entitled “13 Inner Shadows” is the first to be released in what is expected to be a series of Face The Sun trailers and features SEVENTEEN's leader and rapper S.Coups. There are also several Easter eggs in the trailer. Did you catch them?

At the beginning of the trailer, it can be seen that S.Coups is waking up from his alarm to a peculiar "White Night" and notices something baffling about the atmosphere of the city surrounding him.

Along with that, SEVENTEEN also posted a video of S.Coups staring at the camera and uttering the words, “I'm NOT SEVENTEEN anymore.”

Carats were left puzzled with this release and had created their own theories surrounding the chain of events that went down in the trailer.

Did you also notice what seems to be a reflection of Jeonghan (SEVENTEEN's second oldest member and singer) on the alarm clock?

Or the time itself on the alarm clock, “5:26” which can be translated into SEVENTEEN's debut date which was on May 26?

How about the white atmospheric night that Seungcheol woke up to? Could it be possible that Cheol was experiencing a "white night" or a "sleepless night?"

And S.Coups saying he's not SEVENTEEN anymore, could this be a representation of his fears and worries?

Although these are just mere speculations, a lot of Carats are sensing a pattern with these hints and giveaways.

Regardless, all we can do at the moment is wait for SEVENTEEN to release their album on May 27 to confirm all of these. Or maybe one of the members might tease it on their Vlive, we never know.

SEVENTEEN will be releasing a series of trailers for their Face The Sun album in the following weeks until May 9 and will share teaser photos on the week of May 11 to 14. The track list will be released on May 18 along with a highlight medley to be unveiled on May 23.

SEVENTEEN will also release music video teasers on May 24 and 25 and will finally release the “Face The Sun” album and a new music video on May 27.

Face The Sun is the fourth full-length album that SEVENTEEN will release since their debut and will come after their album An Ode which was released in September 2019. SEVENTEEN also recently released their first-ever English single called “Darl+ing.”
