As lead stars of the afternoon series Underage Lexi Gonales, Hailey Mendes, and Elijah Alejo get older, the Serrano sisters all agree that despite slowly turning into adults, they still need guidance from their parents.
According to Lexi during their interview on GMA Regional TV's Biztalks, the three of them could agree that “it's hard working young and all the more you need the guidance.”
She added that even in their adulting stage, they still need “people that would help us na alam natin masasalo tayo.”
“I think kahit anong edad pa, ako, kahit na tumanda pa ako, lagi at lagi akong tatakbo sa nanay ko,” Lexi said.
Elijah said that she has the same sentiments as Lexi, adding that she believes in the phrase that no man is an island.
Kahit anong mangyari, through thick and thin, andyan lang sila para sa atin,” she added.
Hailey, on the other hand, shared her realization that no matter how many friends you have, “iba pa rin yung magulang mo na kilalang-kilala ka e.”
Despite the three young actresses turning into adults, they said that they still enjoy being a kid sometimes.
For Lexi, the best thing about being young is the freedom.
“When you're young, it's ok to commit mistakes kasi bata pa 'ko, I'm just discovering things. The freedom,” she added.
