Elijah Alejo and Jillian Ward

Elijah Alejo greets one of her first friends in showbiz, Jillian Ward, on her special day!

Sparkle artist and Abot-Kamay na Pangarap star Jillian Ward is celebrating her debut today, February 23, and one of the people who penned a birthday greeting for the actress was her Prima Donnas co-star Elijah Alejo.

Elijah shared a series of photos of her and Jillian on Instagram with a sweet greeting for the debutant.

“Happy 18th, love @jillian welcome to adulthood (finally, we're magkaedad na) thank you for being there through thick and thin since we were young!” she captioned her post.

She added, “Thank you for the love and care even tho we rarely see each other due to our busy scheds, thank you for the late-night kwentuhans, thank you and I love you so much, my Donna Marie!”

In an interview with Lhar Santiago on “Chika Minute,” the Underage star expressed excitement as she looks forward to what Jillian has prepared for her debut.

She added, “Magiging magka-edad na tayo, Jill. Syempre sabay po kaming lumaki, sabay po kaming nag-start ng showbiz journey namin, so eto na. I'm looking forward po sa kung anong gagawin ni Jill sa debut niya.”

Both Elijah and Jillian started in GMA at a young age with Jillian in 2009 in the noon-time show Eat Bulaga and appearing in several TV series before being cast as the lead on Sine Novela: Trudis Liit.

Elijah, meanwhile, started her career in 2010 when she appeared on the family comedy series Kaya ng Powers. In 2019, both starred in the afternoon series Prima Donnas.
