BE:LIFT LAB, K-pop boy group ENHYPEN's agency, confirmed on July 21 that member Jay tested positive for COVID-19.

In the agency's announcement posted on Weverse, they said, “Hello. This is BELIFT LAB. We would like to provide you with some information on ENHYPEN member Jay being diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as adjustments to his activities. Jay used a self-testing kit and tested positive on the morning of July 21 (Thursday). He promptly took a PCR test, which also came back positive. He is currently showing symptoms like mild sore throat and body aches and is being treated at home away from the other members.”

According to the post, no other ENHYPEN member tested positive upon taking self-testing kits.

BE:LIFT LAB further explains, “As such, Jay will not be able to participate in ENHYPEN's schedule for the time being. We will continue to provide an update on when he will resume activities. Our company will place the artists' health as our top priority, and we will do everything we can to aid Jay in his speedy recovery. We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities.”

ENHYPEN just released their new song “ParadoXXX Invasion” and its music video and is set to perform the new track on Mnet's M Countdown today. Unfortunately, Jay won't be able to attend the event and other promotional activities set for the group's comeback.

jay literally worked very hard for this comeback and is surely excited for paradoxxx invasion's promotion too, but due to the positive result of his pcr test, he won't be able to participate for it. i hope he knows how much we appreciate and love him. get well soon jay :(
