Epy Quizon is thanking a TNVS driver for his honesty and kindness after accidentally leaving his cellphone in the driver's car.
On Instagram Friday, July 10, Epy shared a photo with driver Jhun Diaz as he recounted how the incident unfolded.
According to the Pulang Araw actor, he had no way of reaching the driver after realizing his phone was no longer with him.
"I accidentally left my phone in his car. I had no way to contact him, and he had no way to contact me. Instead of simply leaving, he stayed near the area where he had dropped me off, hoping I'd realize my phone was missing," Epy wrote.
The actor said it took him nearly three hours to notice that his cellphone was gone.
He added that his daughter, Misha, and his partner, Mapet, later called his number. Jhun answered the call, and within minutes, the driver returned to hand over the phone.
For Epy, what stood out most was not just getting his phone back, but the driver's attitude throughout the experience.
"What I'll remember most wasn't just that he gave my phone back—it was the smile on his face. There was no annoyance, no irritation about the inconvenience. Just genuine happiness that he could help," he said.
Epy thanked Jhun for his honesty and compassion, saying that people like him deserve recognition.
"Thank you, Mr. Jhun Diaz, for your kindness, integrity, and compassion," Epy wrote. "People like you restore our faith in humanity."
