BLACKPINK became hot topic on social media during their fan meeting in Manila, Philippines on Thursday, June 6, for e-commerce platform Shopee. Take a look at what happened during the fan meet and greet.
The girls of Korean girl group BLACKPINK namely Jennie Kim, Lisa Manoban, Jisoo Kim, and Rosé Park met their fans collectively known as “blinks” for a fan meeting organized by Shopee at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura.
It's BLACKPINK's second time in the Philippines, with their first one happening last February 2019 for their Manila concert. Blinks were excited to join the exclusive meet and greet to see BLACKPINK.
The K-pop group behind smash hits “Kill This Love,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and “As If It's Your Last,” are Shopee's regional brand ambassador.
The girls arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in trendy K-pop fashion.
BLACKPINK was greeted by their loyal Blinks at the airport.
Despite allegedly feeling unwell, as noticed by some fans, Jennie Kim (right) still smiled and interacted with the blinks.
Jennie later on posted a story on her Instagram saying “I'm okay :) Love you blinks.”
BLACKPINK's Lisa Manoban posted on her Instagram, “Masaya akong makita kayong mga blinks.”
Rosé Park had an Instagram after the event and had good things to say about the Philippines. “It's really nice here…we were able to meet our Filipino fans and have a short signing event. The energy here was crazy. They [Filipino blinks] are so kind, and so sweet. And we are always grateful for that."
Jisoo Kim said on her Instagram stories, “Philippine blinks, I had so much fun meeting all of you. I love you. I'll be back!!”
Media influencers and fans attended the exclusive event.
