Kapuso actor, model, and TV host Mikael Daez is all pumped up and raring to go to South Korea to shoot the biggest-reality game show of 2022, Running Man Philippines.

Mikael is part of the stellar cast of the show together with Glaiza De Castro and Ruru Madrid. Completing the seven casts are Kokoy de Santos, Angel Guardian, Lex Gonzales, and Buboy Villar.

In a web exclusive video of Running Man Philippines, the former Ismol Family star immediately agreed to be part of this big project, when he got the news. Especially, since he found out that they will be heading to Korea to shoot the entire first season.

He recalled, “Ang unang reaction ko is YES! A very-very quick yes!

“Alam n'yo naman ako sobrang hilig ko mag-travel, so sobrang na-excite ako to the idea na makakapag-trabaho ako outside the Philippines, after so many things that have happened to us here in the world.”

“So, this is a blessing at sana ma-enjoy n'yo lahat 'to.” Mikael added.

A self-confessed “foodie,” the Kapuso actor is also looking forward to trying a myriad of Korean dishes, too.

He explained, “Oh my, God, I'm so excited for the food. I think given na masaya 'yung production niyan. I'm very excited to work with all the castmates here and work with the Korean production team, but of course 'di ba hindi ko makakalimutan ang pagkain doon. I absolutely love Korean food, so I'm excited.”
