 F4 in the Philippines

More than two decades after 'Meteor Garden' became a phenomenon, F4 members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou reunited for the “F Forever” concert at the Philippine Arena.

Thousands of fans gathered at the Philippine Arena on Saturday as Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou brought the "F Forever" world tour to the Philippines, with Taiwanese singer Ashin of Mayday joining the special concert.

The highly anticipated reunion celebrated F4's lasting legacy, with concertgoers lighting up the venue using "F Forever"-themed light sticks while singing along to the group's biggest hits.

A diamond-shaped center stage allowed the performers to get closer to fans from every section of the arena, making the concert feel more intimate despite the massive venue.

The night kicked off with fan-favorite songs including "Promise Me You'll Be My Bro," "Waiting for You," "Ask for More," and "First Time."

Vanness later took center stage for his solo set, performing "Dance Until We Die," "Save Me," and "Ur the Reason."

He also delivered an emotional performance of "Piece by Piece" as personal photos and memories with his loved ones were shown on the LED screens. Vanness then picked up a guitar for a rendition of Hillsong Worship's "Oceans" before continuing with "God Made a Girl" and "Pray."

Vic Chou also showcased his signature ballads, performing "Forever Love," "You Are My Courage," "Tell Me Why," "In Loving You," and "Make a Wish."

One of the biggest highlights of the evening came when F4 reunited onstage for "Can't Lose You," wearing angel wings as they walked through the standing area to greet fans up close.

The arena erupted as fans sang every word of the group's beloved songs, including "Can't Lose You," "Can't Help Falling in Love With You," F4's version of the Elvis Presley classic, "Ni Yao De Ai," "Meteor Rain," and "Forever and Ever."

The nostalgic sing-along, especially the iconic "Oh baby, baby, baby" lyrics from "Can't Lose You," transported many fans back to the height of the Meteor Garden phenomenon in the early 2000s.

F4 was formed in 2001 after Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Chou, and Ken Chu starred in the hit Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden alongside the late actress Barbie Hsu. The series became a massive success across Asia, including the Philippines, helping turn the group into one of the region's biggest pop acts.

Beyond the music, the group also left a meaningful impact through their generosity.

Ahead of the concert, Jerry, Vanness, Vic, and Ashin donated P2.5 million to the GMA Kapuso Foundation's "Operation Bayanihan" to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for families affected by the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao.

In a Facebook post, GMA Kapuso Foundation said the donation was dedicated to helping communities devastated by the disaster, adding that the contribution reflects the group's enduring bond with the Philippines and the strong connection they have built with Filipino fans through the years.
