Yasmien Kurdi announces 'third dragon' in their family

StarStruck alum and The Missing Husband star Yasmien Kurdi announced she's having a second baby, the third dragon in their family!

In an Instagram post, Yasmien and her husband Rey Soldevilla posted a series of pictures with their daughter, Ayesha, and a sonogram.

“We've been keeping a little secret for a while #BabyNo2 this 2024! The 3rd Dragon in the family,” Yasmien and Rey captioned their posts.

They also explained why their second child would be the third dragon in the family. According to their post, Yasmien, born in January 1989, was born in the Year of the Earth Dragon while their daughter, Ayesha, who was born in Nov 2012, was born in the Year of the Water Dragon.

Meanwhile, their “baby dragon” will be born in 2024, the Year of the Wood Dragon.

In 2022, Yasmien admitted that they were about to try for a second baby during the pandemic, but was advised against it by their pediatrician.

“Sabi sa amin ng pedia na 'wag na lang muna kasi yung surge nung time na yun, medyo natatakot din kami,” Yasmien recalled.

She added that since she and Rey were getting busier and Ayesha did not ask for a sibling, they decided to put having another child on hold at the time.

However, she clarified in the interview, “Kung ibibigay, it's a blessing.”

Meanwhile, a few celebrity friends, family, and fans have already sent their congratulations to Yasmien and her family.
