Cager Scottie Thompson proudly announced on social media that he is now a father of two.

In his Instagram post on April 2, the PBA player revealed that his wife, Jinky, gave birth to their second child--another boy--Schyler Austin.

"Say hello to the world SCHYLER AUSTIN THOMPSON! Kuya @asterthompson_ is so happy to finally meet you!" Scottie said in his caption.

The post bore photos of the now-family of four in the hospital, as well as Schyler Austin's first snaps as a newborn.

Scottie is grateful for Jinky's successful delivery of their baby as he commended his wife for surviving the difficulties that came with her pregnancy.

He continued, "Thank you Lord for blessing us another bundle of joy. Thank you Lord for giving us such a loving and caring wife and a mother! To my wife, Thank you for all of your sacrifice. I see all of your pain, struggles and swing of your emotions but you still manage na intindihin ako sa lahat ng mga shortcomings ko. Thank you for everything my love!"

The Barangay Ginebra star guard added, "I promise na mas iintindihin kita specially this post-partum period mo. I promise to care of you at babies natin habang nagrerecover ka! We love you so much mommy!! @jnkythmpsn #TheThompsons."

Scottie and Jinky tied the knot in a private ceremony in Las Piñas in June 2021. The surprise marriage created a buzz as Scottie had just been engaged to long-time girlfriend Pauline Fajardo on New Year's Day.

Scottie and Jinky remarried in a beautiful beach wedding held in Pearl Farm Beach Resort in Davao Del Norte in December 2021.

The couple welcomed their first child, Scot Alystair, on May 5, 2023.
