Kris Aquino gave Bimby assurance that she's keeping her promise to him with regards to her health.
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino penned a heartfelt message for her son Bimby on his 17th birthday. In it, she expressed her fear of 'not being around' for her son's 18th birthday, and how admirable her bunso is despite her current health condition.
In a lengthy but heartfelt post on Instagram, Kris admitted that she has not shared recent news about her health “because my news has mostly been sad.”
She also mentioned that while she does not want to dampen the good vibes of her son's birthday, she owes the truth to the people who have been constantly praying for her.
“In the past month with kuya josh back in the [Philippines], and because of several vaccines I needed to be given - Bimb kept me company while I quarantined,” she wrote.
She then addressed her youngest son, assuring him that she kept her promise on September 28, 2018, the first time they noticed “something scary” about her weight loss.
“I'm sorry for showing weakness yesterday when I cried non-stop because of my fear that I may not be around to be with you on your 18th birthday - it's my bad for not being grateful,” she wrote.
She continued that she could not be optimistic and see “the glass half full” after seeing how Bimby had matured so much during the time she'd been hospitalized.
“You're always ready to help my nurses and, though I know you're also freaked, you still show CALM & absolute FAITH in God when my BP and heart rate reach scary high numbers,” she said in her post.

Kris also said how her heart “overflows with love because of your caring, selfless, unconditional LOVE.”
She then expressed her wish for Bimby to remain strong, for his values and integrity to stay admirable, and for his being respectful and polite to remain unchanged. She also wished for her youngest son's passion for learning to “continue to inspire you to make the most of your education.
In the end, Kris left a short but sweet message for Bimby, “I LOVE YOU not only during my lifetime or yours BUT definitely for eternity. You're my greatest achievement because of your capacity to love.”
“This early you've embraced your responsibility to take care of your kuya, and since you were 11 years old, you've been so protective of me. Love doesn't die my 🍯[honey], please remember that. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the love of my life,” she wrote.
