Raymond Gutierrez: “Today was a very difficult day for our family and most especially for @richardgutz and @sarahlahbati.”

It is a pretty difficult week for engaged couple Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez after the two announced that they decided to postpone their wedding due to coronavirus disease or COVID-19 pandemic.

According to their statement, Sarah and Richard made the decision so that their guests will not be at risk from COVID-19.

“As much as we want to celebrate our love with our family and friends, in light of the recent situation, we have decided to postpone our wedding as we do not want to put anyone at risk.

“Thank you so much to those who flew in and to everyone who worked so hard for our special day.”

They announced their engagement back in 2017 and have two kids, Zion and Kai.

Meanwhile, Richard's twin brother, Raymond Gutierrez, expressed his sadness about the postponement of his brother's wedding.

He also lauded his brother and future sister-in-law for choosing the safety of others, instead of pushing through with their wedding.

Mond wrote, “Today was a very difficult day for our family and most especially for @richardgutz and @sarahlahbati.

“Postponing their wedding wasn't an easy decision--one year of planning with hundreds of people involved and guests from all over the world already in town to celebrate the big day.

“I'm very proud of them for choosing the safety of their guests and putting everyone's wellbeing at the forefront. In a time where the world feels so uncertain and full of fear, your love for each other makes us hopeful for the future.

“Continue to be an example and we will celebrate once everything gets better. Love you both! 🤍🤍🤍”
