PH Volcanoes defend Unions Cup title

The National Men's Rugby Team Philippine Volcanoes successfully defended their Unions Cup crown after defeating Malaysia, 39-18, in the final on July 18 in Thailand.

The Filipinos had a dominant 74-0 victory over Laos before defeating Singapore, 33-10, to book a place in the championship match.

The tournament featured eight teams from across Asia.

With the victory, the Philippines captured its second consecutive Unions Cup title. The next edition of the tournament will be hosted by the Philippines.
