The 44-year-old mom to Elijah and stepson Joshua explained on her Instagram that even though they are on home quarantine due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) her kids continue to "work."

Miriam said, "PURPOSEFUL WORK. Since classes are suspended, the kids continue to work at home. While Kuya @joshwi3 works on his math online, Elijah is learning to keep the house clean."

She added that even her 13-month-old baby Elijah is so dedicated to his "mopping" duties.

Miriam also stressed that doing house chores is a "practical life skill that every child should learn."

She explained, "I just got him a child sized broom and a mop. Look how he is so dedicated that he is even mops underneath the table! :).

"I believe that it's important to take advantage of the interest of children to learn what good they see adults do.

"Learning age appropriate house chores is a practical life skill that every child should learn. Offering them cleaning materials their size gives them more confidence too! @elijahroberto just turned 13 months today!! šŸ„° "

Miriam gave birth to her first son with Ardy Roberto via emergency cesarean procedure on February 16, 2019.
