Sharon Cuneta pens heartfelt message for daughter KC Concepcion
As KC Concepcion celebrated her 35th birthday yesterday, her mom Sharon Cuneta didn't fail to pen a heartfelt message to her eldest daughter.
Yesterday evening, April 7, Sharon wished KC “nothing but happiness, love, peace and all your heart's desire.”
She composed, “Happy, happy birthday, my baby #1!
“Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion has been in my life for three+ decades now, and on this day my girl, like always, I wish you nothing but happiness, love, peace and all of your heart's desires.
“You've grown into a beautiful woman and may God's plans for you unfold (as soon as this health crisis is over!) slowly, one by one, with a beautiful surprise each time.”
Despite the distance between the mom and daughter brought by the enhanced community quarantine, Sharon mentioned that she is with KC in spirit to celebrate the occasion.
“It must feel terrible having to be alone in your condo on this special day. But I assure you that we, your family and our extended families on the Gamboa and Pangilinan sides, together with your true friends and your fans are all throwing love your way. We are all there with you in spirit.
“I hope your fur babies Churro and Chica are making their Mama laugh on her birthday!”
She added, “In life, they say only two things never change and are constant: death and taxes! But, whomever made that up didn't know that there is one more - and that is Mama's love for you. I love you and through the many changes, and challenges one must go through in life, I hope you know that deep in your heart.
“Happy birthday again, my Cucay. I like using that nickname now because it was what we all called you when you were little! Tutti, Tootoot, Kace, Tin, Kristine, Kitina, Tina. God bless you baby. Mama loves you so much!”
In response to the message, KC thanked her mom for the thoughtful words and for the cake she brought over for the celebration.
She wrote in the comments section, “Thank you, Ma. This means a lot to me.
“Thank you for bringing me into the world and also for my favorite strawberry shortcake! And these kind words of affirmation, most especially…
“Love you!”
Similarly, KC's sister, Garie Concepcion, did not miss the chance to greet her.
“My dearest Ate. She has a way of keeping everyone together and that's the one thing I appreciate about her.
“Thank you for everything that you do. We're all blessed to have you.
“She's fun and cool like a best friend but she quickly switches to 'ate' mode when you need for her to be.
“She's thoughtful, generous, smart, confident, talented, beautiful… the list goes on. And to have her as a big sister is amazing! No joke. She's got your back no matter what.
“Even though we don't get to see each other so much, know that I got your back no matter what too! I love you, ate. Happy, happy birthday! Enjoy your quarantine birthday for now and we shall celebrate when this is all over.”
She even joked at the end, “P.S. Is it too much to ask for a pamangkin already?!? Kidding! Don't kill me. Praying that you already meet God's best for you.”
KC Concepcion recently celebrated her 35th birthday alone while on enhanced community quarantine.
In her Instagram post, she mentioned how her birthday changed now that she's on her own.
She wrote, “I thought I would hate being alone on my birthday, but I was so wrong!
"Because of those of you (whom I won't mention one by one) who sent me such sweet, loving messages, and brought me only good energy- I am so happy today."
She added, "You all make my heart so full! Thank you! Truly the sincere love from family & real friends is what matters most in life."
