marvin agustin sister experience as frontliner in canada

Marvin Agustin to fans with frontliner relatives: “Kamustahin n'yo mga kamag-anak n'yo lalo na kung nasa health or medical industry sila.”

Like a few celebrities who have medical frontliners as relatives, Marvin Agustin made sure to check up on his sister amid the ongoing threat of the coronavirus pandemic all over the world.

On Twitter, the actor and restaurateur shared a snippet of his conversation with his sister together with the caption, “I checked on my sister, she's a nurse in Canada. 'Yan ang text back niya.

“Hirap na hirap --silafirst-world [country] pa 'yun. Palakasin n'yo loob nila.”

In the conversation, his sister informed Marvin how she always feels weak and distraught over the rising number of patients in their area.

For the past two days, naiiyak ako tuwing bago pumasok. But as soon as I get to work, mukhang okay lang ako.

“This pandemic is making me really think hard. I won't quit work now.”

In a follow-up tweet, Marvin lauded medical frontliners like his sister and also advised his fans to simply stay home.

He said, “Grabe dusa at sakripisyo nila.

Aside from Marvin, celebrities like Alden Richards, Ruby Rodriguez, Vicky Morales, and Vice Ganda have praised their relatives who are helping combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
