Diana Zubiri gives birth to a baby girl
Kapuso actress Diana Zubiri is officially a mother of three children!
On Wednesday, October 7, the actress and her husband Andy Smith announced the birth of a beautiful baby girl named Amira Jade Smith through a vlog.
In the 15-minute clip, Diana documented her pregnancy journey--from taking a pregnancy test to Amira's delivery--throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
“To answer all of your questions kung bakit matagal na akong hindi nagpopost on my YouTube channel, here's a quick life update!” she wrote in the YouTube caption.
“I hope this video gives you a good idea of how I've been and what I've been doing with my family this quarantine.”
By the 12-minute mark, it was revealed that Andy was unable to witness the birth of their child in the delivery room.
“So, due to the whole COVID situation, I wasn't able to be there to see our baby born because when Diana comes back, she needs to do two weeks of quarantine here in the house,” he said.
“With Aliyah and King, we decided it was best that I stay with the kids for the two weeks while Diana stays with the baby.”
Andy also shared the first photo of his baby daughter in the video and confessed feeling more emotional the second time around.
“I am emotional because I wasn't emotional the first time with Aliyah, 'cause I was more shocked,” he said with tears welling up in his eyes.
“You know if you only saw how hard it was for her for the last months, especially last week.
“I hardly got any sleep kasi she woke up super early because she was getting contractions. I thought about getting a nap, but I couldn't because I was thinking about her.
“I'm super happy. Thankfully, she's healthy.”

Diana Zubiri and Andy Smith tied the knot in 2015. The following year, they welcomed their first child, Aliyah Rose Smith.
Before her marriage to Andy, Diana has a son named Joaquin Achilles “King” Garcia with former husband Alex Lopez, who died in September 2010.
