Kiko Pangilinan to birthday girl Sharon Cuneta: 'Hi sexy!'

After breaking the internet with her trimmer figure in a navy blue swimsuit, Megastar Sharon Cuneta is celebrating her 55th birthday today, January 6.

And on their respective social media platforms, daughters KC Concepcion and Frankie Pangilinan shared their well-wishes to their mother as she turned a year older.

“Today is the day that outshines any other day of the year!” Sharon's firstborn, KC, wrote on Instagram.

“Happy birthday and fabulous 55th to la Reina (the queen). Te quiero muchísimo (I love you so much) @reallysharoncuneta.”

Along with the short-but-sweet caption is a throwback photo of a young KC being held by her mother.

Meanwhile, Frankie Pangilinan, Sharon's eldest daughter to Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, shared snippets of her mother doing what she does best: performing for fans.

She wrote on Twitter, “Happy birthday to my best friend, Megatron.

“May the Lord bless you with a higher alcohol tolerance because that's really all you need. I love you. You make 55 look 15.”

For her part, Sharon greeted her big day by posting yet another sizzling photo of herself in a black swimsuit that showed off her curves.

“55 tomorrow. #sharon2021,” she captioned the photo.

The comment section was brimmed with compliments from celebrity friends and family members, but no one can compare to husband Kiko Pangilinan as he greeted his wife with the words, “Hi, sexy!”

“Beautiful birthday girl, are you busy tonight? We can go through the latest additions to my stamp collection,” Kiko continued, followed by three crazy emojis.

Days leading to her birthday, Sharon Cuneta has been posting swimsuit photos of herself on Instagram and declared that she has officially trimmed down to a size 10.

“I haven't been a 10 in many years. My normal size when I was thin was a 6 or an 8, and I would panic na pag 8!

“Now, to get to a size 6 means, I need to lose the last 20 pounds. After so many years of trying to get rid of all this extra weight and losing anywhere from 60 to 80 lbs, 20 doesn't seem like too much work anymore.”

She continued, “Please pray for me. Then watch me! Thank you, Lord, for that all-important bonk on the head before 2020 ended that knocked me into my senses -- now it's even helping me lose weight! Galing ng Diyos talaga. Love you, everyone.”
