Since Alice officially entered motherhood at age 51, she shared that she regretted not having a baby at an earlier age.

“It's an amazing experience. I wish that I knew about it earlier kasi parang…and I wish nagkaroon ako ng opportunity to have a child earlier.

“Pero ito na siya dumating na siya this year when I just turned 51. I'm gonna be turning 52 this coming July,” she shared.

When asked about her experience, she said she was still adjusting to her new life as a mom to her beautiful daughter.

“It's not difficult kasi wala naman akong comparison pero siguro like all first-time moms, mahirap 'yung puyat, mahirap 'yung adjustments sa pagpapakain ng baby, tsaka sa totoo lang, hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong yaya so, it's all me,” she added.

The actress and her long-time partner had baby Aura via surrogacy.

Kumbaga I didn't have a driver, a maid, a nanny, anything. It was all me for the first and a half so, ang hirap.

“Hanggang ngayon puyat ako but I'm not complaining. I'm really enjoying every moment,” she added.

Although having a baby is a challenging and life-changing experience, Alice said that she embraced every bit of it.

So, it was very scary na ilipad siya sa eroplano. It was was scary to go to the city to get her passport, requirements, and all those things,” she said.

Meanwhile, Alice likewise shared the emotions she felt upon seeing baby Aura.

“It was a feeling of halo-halong emotions of being a sigh of relief, nerbyos na am I gonna be a good mom, happiness, merong ding kaunting fears kasi siyempre there's a lot of negative things going on in the world right now, so I guess because I'm a very optimistic nalampasan ko ang mga trial na 'yon because of positive thinking,” she said.

On Good Friday, April 2, Alice announced that at age 51, she will have her first child via surrogacy.

Last May 1, the actress flew back to the Philippines with baby Aura.
