James Yap, Michela Cazzola pay tribute to ex-President Noynoy Aquino

Kris Aquino's ex-husband, James Yap, paid tribute to the former President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III, who died yesterday, June 24.

Based on the statement released by PNoy's sisters, the former president died due to renal disease secondary to diabetes.

Upon the announcement of PNoy's passing, messages of sympathy started pouring in on social media, these includes posts from celebrities.

On his Instagram account, James posted a short message to his former brother-in-law.

He said, “Rest in peace President Noynoy Aquino. Thank you for being nice to me. You will be missed.”

On the other hand, James's long-time partner, Michela Cazzola, commented on Kris's Instagram and sent her sympathy to the untimely death of his elder brother.

“Condolences, Kris. Had the honor to work with your brother's administration. Am sorry to hear about the sad news.”

James has a son with Kris Aquino, Bimby Aquino-Yap, who was born in April 2007.

Unfortunately, their marriage was declared “null and void” in February 2012.

Meanwhile, the basketball star has two kids with Michela namely Michael James and Francesca Michelle.
