Nadine Samonte asks for prayers for husband and daughter
Endless Love star Nadine Samonte has been vocal about her struggles with her third baby, but unbeknownst to many, the preggy mom is feeling worried about the health struggles of her husband Richard Chua and daughter Heather.
Nadine and Richard tied the knot in 2013 and have been blessed with two kids: Heather Sloane (born in August 2016) and Austin Titus (born in April 2019).
In her Instagram post yesterday, August 3, Mommy Nadine poured her heart out and asked for prayers to overcome the struggles that they are facing as a family.
She shared, “I'm kinda emotional right now. I don't know what to say or do but I know everything will be fine. Kapit lang , prayers lang. 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding' this is what I'm thinking for the past [weeks].”
“Yes we are going through a lot , hindi halata noh? Pero ngayon hindi ko mapigilan emotions ko, I need your prayers. This week will be very tough for me and the whole family.”
According to the former StarStruck season one finalist, her husband will undergo an angiogram, while Heather is scheduled to have an eye surgery as well.
Vascular.org defines an angiogram as an X-ray procedure that can be both diagnostic and therapeutic. It is considered the gold standard for evaluating blockages in the arterial system.
“Heather will have an eye surgery today and my husband will have his angiogram this week. You guys know na I'm struggling also with my pregnancy but here I am fighting and trying to be strong for them, for all of us.
“Crying on my own so they won't see how I really feel. I wanna be strong for them. It's so hard 'pag family talaga. I'm really really emotional right now. I can't stop my tears while typing this. Lord give me all the strength . I know we can do this with you.”
Several of her showbiz friends commented on her post and offered her some words of encouragement including TV host-actress Chynna Ortaleza.
“I will keep you all in our prayers! The Lord will continue to be with your family and all of us always. Cry ka lang Nadine! You are strong, no doubt!”
