“Magkikita tayo muli sa bayang banal, Pa."
Pepito Manaloto star Gladys Reyes confirmed yesterday, October 25 that her father, Sonyer Reyes has died.
The versatile actress shared a video clip showing her singing with her dad and captioned it with this: “Magkikita tayo muli sa bayang banal, Pa."
She went on to say that her Papa tested negative for COVID-19 and added that the whole family will terribly miss him.
“Multiple organ failure (heart, lungs and kidney) but negative from covid. Thank you Pa, I will always be a Papa's girl! Mission accomplished,”
In another post, Gladys wanted everyone to know how much they love Papa Sonyer.
The Reyes family received a deluge of support from several showbiz personalities including Arnold Clavio, Lorna Tolentino, Claudine Barretto, and Angelika dela Cruz.
Last January, Gladys revealed that her father underwent an angioplasty procedure, too.
Her Pepito Manaloto co-star Manilyn Reynes also knows the pain of losing someone, after her Daddy Nelson Reyes passed away in February.
