Miss Grand Philippines CJ Opiaza had previously entered the top 10 of the pre-arrival voting challenge.
Fans and followers of Miss Grand Philippines CJ Opiaza can play a role in her pageant journey as the Miss Grand Philippines organization calls for votes in the pageant's Miss Popular challenge.
In one of the more recent posts on their Instagram account, the Miss Grand Philippines called on pageant fans and followers to vote for CJ Opiaza in the Miss Grand International Miss Popular challenge. Aside from including a link to the website where fans can vote, the organization also shared that winning the vote will result in an automatic Top 10 placement for CJ.
This isn't the first time that the Miss Grand Philippines organization has called for votes for CJ, as it previously asked for help during the Miss Grand International Pre-arrival Voting. At the time of the call, CJ was in the top six of the Miss Grand International pre-arrival voting. Making up the top five were Miss Myanmar, Miss Indonesia, Miss Vietnam, Miss Cambodia, and Miss Thailand.
CJ would then go on to make it to the top 10 of the challenge, earning her a dinner with the Miss Grand International president.
In the caption to the post, the Miss Grand Philippines organization thanked CJ's supporters and asked them to continue to cheer her on as she competes on the international stage.
CJ left for Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Thursday, October 3, at 10 p.m. after a send-off and a press conference. The Miss Grand Philippines called on pageant fans and followers to send her off with “confidence and determination”.
CJ was crowned Miss Grand Philippines on Sunday, September 29. She flew to Cambodia for some of the Miss Grand International activities, and will then head to Bangkok for the pageant's coronation night on October 25.
CJ was crowned at the final show held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts, besting 19 other queens.
