The Miss Grand Philippines will hold its climactic final show over the weekend.
It's going to be a beautiful weekend for Filipino pageant fans as the Miss Grand Philippines organization is set to crown a new queen this coming Sunday, September 29.
In one of the more recent posts on the Miss Grand Philippines Instagram account, the organization announced that the pageant's final show will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila this coming Sunday, September 29, starting at 8 p.m.
In the caption to the post, the organization also announced that fans can vote for their favorites through Likes on Facebook and Instagram and through Shares on Facebook. The two contestants with the highest scores will be announced during the coronation night.
The Miss Grand Philippines' final show announcement comes on the heels of its press presentation held last Monday at the Fashion Interiors by Paul Cornelissen and streamed on the Miss Grand Philippines official YouTube channel.
The Miss Grand Philippines organization staged its final screening for the pageant's applicants more than a month ago, in a “grand spectacle filled with excitement and anticipation” held at the Okada Manila.
Any one of the current Miss Grand Philippines applicants has the chance to succeed Miss Grand Philippines 2023 Nikki de Moura, who represented the country in the Miss Grand International pageant last year at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The Miss Grand Philippines announced the opening for applicants in July on its official Instagram account. In the caption to the post, the organization challenged prospective applicants to become “the first Filipina to bring home the golden crown.”
Nikki received a good reaction in Vietnam when she arrived wearing an Ao Dai, the country's national dress. Pageant fans and even Nikki herself were excited by her arrival, with Nikki writing in the caption that she was “ready for amazing adventures ahead.”
Nikki's fellow delegates during the 2023 Miss Grand Philippines pageant included Herlene Budol, who at the time had already placed first runner-up during the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
