Filipino-American singer Sofronio Vasquez is going to 'The Voice' USA's Playoffs after his coach, Michael Buble, picked him over his two competitors in the show's three-way knockout battle.

Filipino-American singer Sofronio Vasquez is still on the roll to be the next winner of USA's The Voice.

Sofronio is going to the Playoffs after his coach, Michael Buble, picked him over his two competitors, Jeremy Beloate and Kiara Vega, in the show's three-way knockout battle.

Sofronio received a standing ovation from the "Everything" hitmaker and his fellow coaches, Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire, after the contestant impressively performed his version of Dusty Springfield's "You Don't Have To Say You Love" in the Knockouts.

Reba commended Sofronio's performance. She said, "Your stage presence is so confident but your voice is incredible. It's just so good."

After picking Sofronio, Michael attested to the Fil-Am's brilliant vocal talent, applauding his musical style. "He is special, he is unique. He reminds me of a mix between Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson," the Canadian singer-songwriter said.

Sofronio is over the moon as he gets to continue his journey in the 26th season of The Voice USA.

Meanwhile, GMA launched The Voice Kids last September 15. This is the first time this spin-off of The Voice airs on the Kapuso channel.

The Voice Kids Philippines airs every Sunday, 7:00 p.m., on GMA and Kapuso Stream.
