Start planning your holiday by booking a flight within the Philippines.

With travel restrictions now gradually being lifted, airline companies are starting to resume flight operations across the country.

Flights, however, remain minimal in terms of frequency and schedule as health and safety regulations remain in effect throughout the country.

But if you're planning to go on holiday, you can start booking your flights courtesy of these airline companies.

Make sure to check their website regularly as well to be updated on new flights, announcements, and discounts.

The country's flag carrier has slowly started resuming its flights last June. PAL began servicing only around four percent of its total operations as the country remained under quarantine regulations.

Today, PAL has resumed much of its domestic flights. These include stops in Siargao, Davao, General Santos, Bacolod, Roxas, Cagayan de Oro, Pagadian, Ozamiz, Legazpi, Butuan, Cotabato, Zamboanga, Kalibo, Caticlan, Dipolog, and Cebu, to name just a few.

Furthermore, PAL eyes to increase the frequencies of flights to domestic destinations starting this month.

“We may have to cancel flights, add frequencies or adjust our planned schedules, based on evolving quarantine restrictions and entry requirements set by the Philippine authorities and local government units (LGUs),” PAL said on its website.

PAL has also launched a promo where customers can book one-way flights to domestic destinations for as low as P588 and covering the travel period from November 16, 2020, to September 30, 2020. The promo though will only be available for booking starting today, November 6 until November 8.

Cebu Pacific resumed much of its domestic flights on August 19. Just some of the places that the airline is now servicing are Legazpi, Masbate, Virac, Bacolod, Cebu, Boracay, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Kalibo, Tacloban, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Bohol, Dipolog, and Davao, among others.

The frequencies of the flights are still minimal and are subject to changes depending on the situation as determined by the government and local authorities.

Cebu Pacific has been encouraging passengers to use its online service and app for contactless transactions.

Air Asia Philippines started servicing Philippine domestic destinations again last June 3. The airline resumed its flights initially to Cebu, Davao, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Tagbilaran, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Palawan, and Davao.

Surprisingly, the airline launched its new flight from Manila to Zamboanga just last October 27, with the maiden flight touching down at Zamboanga International Airport at 3:30 p.m. on that day.

To boost operations, Air Asia has come up with its Unli Flight Pass offering unlimited flights to all domestic destinations.
