AirAsia launches Unli Flight Pass

AirAsia Philippines on Monday launched its Unli Flight Pass, which will allow travelers to book flights to domestic destinations with a travel date until October 2021.

In an advisory on Monday, AirAsia said the Unli Flight Pass is available to all Philippine-based AirAsia BIG Members for purchase from November 2 to 8 at P4,999.

The redemption period is from November 9 to October 16, 2021, for flights between November 23, 2020 and October 30, 2021.

"We are very pleased to welcome the return of domestic leisure travel with the launch of our UNLI Flight Pass, an unbeatable deal perfect not only for leisure travelers but for business travelers as well," said AirAsia Philippines chief executive officer Ricky Isla.

"The launch of our UNLI Flight Pass is a campaign focused on revitalizing the travel and tourism industry, as we prioritize the stimulation of economic activity especially in AirAsia’s domestic destinations," he added.

Flights redeemed with the Unli Flight Pass are subject to government taxes and fees, add ons, and other applicable charges.

AirAsia Philippines resumed its services on June 5, after nearly three months of suspension due to lockdowns designed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

AirAsia, along with carriers Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines, earlier appealed to the government to provide P8.6 billion in assistance to the airline industry given losses incurred during the period. — DVM, GMA News
