A Home Foodie can be anyone who loves food, cooking and eating!

In a May 31 bloggers conference, Drew discussed that Iya became confident in the kitchen when she joined Home Foodie.

He said, “Before Iya didn't want to cook, but now she has evolved into a Dark Phoenix of the kitchen.”

Dark Phoenix is a character based on the comics and movies of X-Men.

Iya debated that her initial thought was she can't cook when they have kids already. However, their eldest son Primo, changed her perspective.

She said, “Parang I thought na parang it was just hard to do. Akala ko nga all the more 'pag naging nanay ako mas mahihirapan ako dahil mas wala akong time. But I found that when I had children, the more I found myself in the kitchen lalo na 'yung anak naming si Primo mahilig din kasi sa kusina.”

Iya also added that she wants to be around Primo while developing his interest for food.

“I am more confident in the kitchen lalo na when I am with Primo. I see it's his interest, I want to be able to make that grow. I want to be able to make that interest grow with him.”

In this season, Home Foodie's madalicious and affordalicious meals will be prepared by the celebrity chefs from San Miguel Culinary Center, Chef Llena Tan-Arcenas, Chef Martin Narisma, and Chef John Valley starting on June 10.
