Frankie Pangilinan receives rape threats anew after seeking justice for flight attendant Christine Dacera.

Frankie Pangilinan, the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, has been receiving rape threats following voicing her opinion about the recent issue regarding the death of flight attendant Christine Dacera.

On Twitter, the young Pangilinan reiterated that rape exists because of rapists.

She penned on January 4, “It is never the clothes, never the drinks -- never the victim, period. It is always, ALWAYS, the rapist's fault.

“How many more times do we have to hammer this home for it to stick in your thick skulls, please?!?!”

Frankie added, “The hashtag really shouldn't be 'protect drunk girls,' man. It should be: respect any human being because drunk girls shouldn't be needing any more protection than drunk guys.

“That's exactly what's wrong here, though -- a few drinks and we're suddenly no longer people.

“Like it's f*cked up, I get it -- girls have so much more to fear in intoxication. But, it's so damn sad that we have to be 'protected,' because that implies this kind of danger is inevitable when it's not.

“Teach your kids not to rape people; let us deal with the hangovers.”

Following her tweets, a few netizens left unkind comments towards Frankie to the point that some even wished the singer would be “raped.”

The message reached the eldest Pangilinan, who observed, "There's something awful and stupid about how I only get rape threats when I talk about rape not being okay."

It can be recalled that Frankie made headlines in 2020 after voicing her opinion on social media about how clothes should not be regarded as consent for rape.

Following her statements, TV and radio personality Ben Tulfo wrote Frankie a tweet, calling her "hija" and saying "a sex offender's desire to commit a crime will always be there."

Frankie clarified that "rape culture is real" and that calling her "hija" will not "belittle her point."

Shortly after, she started using the hashtag #HijaAko and encouraged people to be stronger than their abusers.

"You are bigger than your abuse and much stronger than your abusers. Don't let anybody tell you differently," Frankie wrote.
