
Kpop girl group Girls' Generation's singer Taeyeon tested positive for COVID-19, as confirmed by her agency SM Entertainment.
In a statement, SM Entertainment shared, “Hello. Taeyeon was diagnosed with COVID-19 today [November 14]. She received a positive result on the self-test kit she administered after feeling symptoms of poor condition from the previous day, so this morning, she took a rapid antigen test and received confirmation of her positive test.”
According to the agency, Taeyeon has halted all of her activities and is currently in quarantine. They further said, “With our artist's health and safety being priority, we will do everything we can so she can focus on treatment and recovery.”
