Happy anniversary, Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas
After a tumultuous first month of 2021 due to the hospitalization of Gladys Reyes's father, the popular kontrabida star can look forward to brighter days ahead, especially since she and husband Christopher Roxas recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary.
The former love team-turned-real-life couple tied the knot in 2004.
In her Instagram post last January 23, Gladys posted some throwback photos with Christopher, whom she describes as an “answered prayer.”
If you remember, back in 2018, the showbiz couple held a star-studded renewal of vows at the Fernwood Gardens Tagaytay.

Several celebrities also sent their well-wishes to the long-time couple including Pepito Manaloto star Manilyn Reynes, Ara Mina, and TV host and VJ Donita Rose.
Gladys and Christopher have four children namely: Gian Christopher, Gianna Aquisha, Grant Carlin, and Gavin-Cale.

The family of Gladys Reyes had to go through some difficult period lately after her dad, Sonny, was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a heart attack.
He is now out of the hospital and recovering well after undergoing an angioplasty procedure.
The former Madrasta star admitted that this incident was a roller coaster of emotion.
“I don't know how I was able to surpass all the roller coaster of emotions being in this situation, but I am grateful!! Praying there will be no more complications and that my papa is on his way to full recovery. Good night everyone!!”
In a separate Instagram post on January 18, the versatile Kapuso actress expressed her profound gratitude to everyone who showed their support to her family in the midst of this difficult period.
“Today, January 18 is the wedding anniversary of my mama and papa. What a great gift, my papa can now go home after his successful angioplasty 3 days ago.
“Thank you to my family, friends and everyone who prayed for my papa. He is now on his way to full recovery.”
Gladys's last project with GMA-7 was the afternoon soap Madrasta starring Arra San Agustin, Thea Tolentino, and Juancho Trivino.
