It's official! Philippine telecommunications company, Smart, has recently signed global superstars BTS to headline their “Live Smarter, Live with Purpose” 2021 campaign.

As the newest brand ambassadors, BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will star in the telco's ad campaign that will be released during the first quarter of 2021. The new campaign hopes to inspire young Filipinos to live with passion and purpose.

“Aside from their remarkable talent, BTS emerged as the biggest band in the world because of their meaningful and uplifting music that brings hope and encouragement to fans, especially in the bleakest of times,” shares Alfredo S. Panlilio, Smart president and CEO, in a press release.

“It is, therefore, a big honor to welcome BTS to the Smart family so we may inspire more Filipinos to find purpose in everything they do and ultimately live smarter for a better world.”

The boy group's passion for inspiring millions of youths in the entire globe resonated with the telco brand's new campaign for the year.

Fans may catch a glimpse of the Grammy-nominated boy band in Smart's ad campaign soon by following their Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.

BTS, otherwise known as Bangtan Sonyeondan, is a Grammy-nominated artist from South Korea that includes members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

The boy band gained worldwide acclaim for their music, top-notch performances, and social media presence with their legion of fans called the ARMY.

In 2020 alone, BTS achieved so many great feats, including back-to-back No. 1 at the Billboard Charts, a Guinness World Record, nominations at the American Music Awards and the Grammy Awards, and being named as Time Magazine's Entertainer of the Year.
