Global fashion icon and premiere Sparkle talent Heart Evangelista remains a Kapuso after renewing her contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, July 29.

A glamorous setup designed by Gideon Hermosa was prepared for the contract signing event held at the GMA Network Center in Quezon City.

Big bosses of the Kapuso Network attended the event to witness Heart reaffirm her ties with her home network. These included GMA Network President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Felipe S. Yalong.

Also present in the contract signing were Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable; and Vice President for Entertainment Group's Musical Variety Formats, Specials and Alternative Productions, and Heart Evangelista's Manager, Ms. Gigi S. Lara.

Atty. Annette thanked Heart for trusting GMA again. She also described the actress's contribution to the network as “unquantifiable.”

She said, “Words cannot express our gratitude and appreciation that you trusted GMA and also Sparkle.”

“Your contributions to GMA and Sparkle with your talent, class, and style. Not just here but also abroad is really unquantifiable! We really love you Heart.”

Meanwhile, Rasonable shared during Heart's contract signing that she is one of the “most sincere” people she had the pleasure of working with.

The Kapuso lady executive recalled, “I have one anecdote that I will always, always remember one time you passed by the office and I wasn't there. And then you left me a very small note that I was here and then you put your lips on it. Until now, I still have it on my desk.

“That shows how sincere a co-worker you are. How sincere a person you are. And that's what makes me proud to be your Kapuso. So, thank you for renewing your ties with GMA. Ang sabi nga ni Mr. Duavit, forever! “And we will always be here to support you.”

For her part, Heart's manager, Gigi S. Lara, pointed out that her “prized alaga” is a hard-working person, but prioritizes her family no matter what.

Miss Lara said during the event, “From the time we started working together. You told me a list of three things you want to focus on.

“And you never stop working, until you achieve all those three. And I can say now na you've done it.”

“You've taken care of your work, you've worked hard. And you've taken care of your family. You never forget them, you will always put them on top of your mind. Congratulations with all your hard work and your heart in giving not just to your Kapuso, to your network, to your family. But also to your fans, congratulations again and thank you for staying with GMA.”
