GMA Network partnered with Synamedia and Telered for cloud-based IP distribution.

GMA Network has inked a partnership with video solutions company Synamedia and its local distribution partner, Telered.

The contract signing was held on December 16 at the GMA Network Center and was attended by executives from GMA, Synamedia and Telered.

Representing GMA were First Vice President and Head of International Operations Joseph Francia, First Vice President for Admin and Investor Relations Ari Chio, Asst. Vice President of International Operations and IP Delivery Project Manager Cherry FlorCruz.

Joining them were Redentor Laset, President, and Christian Mauricio, Vice President for Sales, Marketing, and Business Development at Telered Technologies and Services Corporation.

Also present were Vince Matherne, Synamedia's Vice President of Global Sales for Video Network, along with Lindsay Ryan, Regional Sales Director for ANZ/SEA and Ken Yap, Head of Sales for APAC.

GMA Network is transitioning from satellite-based to cloud-based IP distribution of its channels GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV.

This migration project was a joint initiative of GMA International and GMA Satellite & Uplink.

It started in 2023 with affiliates in the Middle East and North Africa, then expanded to the Asia-Pacific region by 2024.

The project is now in its final phase and is expanding to the United States and Canada.
