Broadcast giant GMA Network was hailed Most Outstanding Media Entertainment Producer at the 8th Gawad Lasallianeta, reaffirming its enduring impact and creative leadership in Philippine media. Alongside this prestigious recognition, the Kapuso Network's artists and programs were also honored with multiple awards in entertainment, broadcast journalism, and public service during the ceremony held January 26 at De La Salle Araneta University in Malabon City.

For GMA Integrated News, Mel Tiangco, Emil Sumangil, and Vicky Morales of the Network's flagship newscast 24 Oras were recognized as Most Outstanding News Anchors, while Bernadette Reyes was honored as Most Outstanding News Correspondent.

GMA Public Affairs's slate also shone with Jessica Soho being conferred with the Most Outstanding Documentarist for her brave and uncompromising investigative work in the “Katakot-takot na Kurakot” series aired on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS). Soho further won the Most Outstanding Magazine Show Host for the said award-winning news magazine program.

Vicky Morales was named Most Outstanding Public Affairs Show Host for Wish Ko Lang, which also earned the Most Outstanding Public Affairs Show honor.

Long-running morning program Unang Hirit swept its categories, winning Most Outstanding Morning Show and Most Outstanding Morning Show Hosts. At the same time, Born To Be Wild and Drew Arellano won Most Outstanding Educational Show and Most Outstanding Educational Show Host, respectively. Moreover, I-Witness received the distinction of Most Outstanding Documentary Show, while I Juander secured Most Outstanding Magazine Show. Kara David was awarded as Most Outstanding Current Affairs Show Host for the podcast i-Listen.

GMA further dominated multiple categories for entertainment, as Fast Talk With Boy Abunda took home the Most Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show award. Its host, Boy Abunda, was named Most Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.

Earning the Most Outstanding Digital Radio Station was GMA Network's flagship AM radio station, Super Radyo DZBB 594kHz.

On the cinematic front, GMA Pictures and GMA Entertainment Group's 2024 Cinemalaya entry Balota was named Most Outstanding Film, with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera receiving the distinction of Most Outstanding Film Actress.

Meanwhile, Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza received the award for Most Outstanding Actress in a Digital Film for her remarkable role in Kontrabida Academy.

Moreover, Sparkle artist Juancho Triviño was chosen as one of the five Gawad Lasallianeta ZEAL Awardees for Excellence. The award honors outstanding Lasallian figures who influence the public through effective communication.

Rounding off the awards won by GMA Network were It's Showtime as Most Outstanding Variety Show and its hosts were hailed the Most Outstanding Variety Show Hosts. The successful run of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition also made its mark, earning Most Outstanding Competition/Reality Show, with its hosts honored as Most Outstanding Competition Show Hosts.

Presented by the De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU), Gawad Lasallianeta honors individuals and programs that champion responsible, educational, and impactful media. The awardees were chosen through a voting process participated in by the DLSAU community from a pool of nominees across various categories.

These new sets of honors highlight GMA Network's continued dominance in the industry and its unwavering commitment to excellence in storytelling and impactful journalism.
